'I'm thrilled to serve the people of Chicago and can't wait to be a part of the Andersonville community,' said Elias Majid, owner of Eli Tea Bar. Drag Bingo, DJ's, tarot readings, open mic nights, and queer meet-ups will be just a few of the events scheduled. After the opening, there will be an extensive event calendar launch to showcase community interests and talents. The specialty tea bar will incorporate late-ish hours to accommodate those who like to socialize in a sober bar and cafe setting. These updates will include cafe seating, a walk-up window for low contact to-go orders, and a mini stage in the backroom. The 2,000-square-foot Andersonville shop is currently undergoing renovations to enhance the location. The LGBT-owned and operated sober space plans to open later this fall and will feature 100+ loose leaf options, in-house tea blends, bubble tea, kombucha on tap, and retail teaware. OctoChicago, IL - Eli Tea Bar is set to open its second store located at 5507 N Clark St in Chicago, Illinois. This article shared 1182 times since Wed Oct 6, 2021
